More general threats to free speech in the US this week shed new light for me on repression in Medicine that has had doctors afraid of losing not just a job but our career. In an open letter to my colleagues I just published on my Substack Close to the Bone with Lauren Kosinski, MD, I speak directly to physicians who have been trying to figure out how to juggle all this and have ended up paying a price anyway.
